Hello fellow Manager users. I’m new to this wonderful software and almost ready to go.
I’ve one minor thing I really would like to change. After hours of trying and searching myself I would like to ask you for help:
Because I don’t always know the delivery date when sending a sales quote to a client, the “Issue date” should be changed to “Date”.

Thank you 🙂

This is exactly the point of calling it the issue date. Later, the quote might be copied to a sales order, needing a delivery date, which is a separate variable.

Nevertheless, if you want to change it, you can, using a replace filter. You can read about the technique in this post:

It would usually be more pertinent to have an “invoice date” as opposed to a simple “date” only field which has no relationship to anything. I know I would be asking: Is it the invoice date? invoice printed date? Invoice Entered date? Date the service was provided? It would be ambiguous without it, but realising you must have a use case for it: What @Tut says is correct, the “best” way to do …

> A title is the name of a particular transaction form in Manager. Titles appear near the top of forms in default theme when a transaction or record is viewed, but can be placed elsewhere. Transactions that typically have external recipients offer options for custom titles when they are created. Modification of titles for those forms is common, sometimes even being required by law. These can occur in three ways with built-in features: Sales and purchase quotes, sales invoices, delivery notes, r…

The change requires creating a custom theme, which must be written in Liquid.
