Cash Account Balance In Minus

hi, I am using manager software and I am stuck in a cash account. I have added a purchase invoice and now the balance is showing in minus. So, is there any way I can add money to the cash account from my capital/equity account?

You use the receipt transaction to record a receipt of money into your cash account.

Where did the money in your cash account that you used to pay the purchase invoice come from?

You cannot use an Inter Account Transfer to transfer money from capital/equity account.

An Inter Account Transfer is used to transfer money from one cash or bank account to another cash or bank account

Yes, you are right we don’t have any option in “Inter Transfer Tab” to move cash from capital to cash account we can only make transactions in between cash and bank accounts.

We don’t have any option to make any transaction from capital account to cash account. Under “Inter Account Transfer Tab”.

If the owner of the business is putting cash into the business, this is recorded as a Receipt to the Cash Account and posted to the Capital Account.
