Cannot post an adjustment against wages

Can Anyone help me.

I cannot post adjustments to the wages account. Do I need to create a payslip in order to post an adjustment?

Please help

Normally, yes. The exception would be if there were a mistake in the initial entry; then, you could edit the entry in question. But as normal good practice, you would not want to alter past records if they were correct at the time entered.

Thanks Tut. I am aware that it is good practice not to change the past data. Part of the transaction was incorrect, and I therefore wanted to correct part of the transaction that was incorrect. Thanks for the feedback. This does however cause other complications, but will post a series of journals to correct the errors.
