# Business Identifier is missing

Hi team  
I have updated my version just now. it is 22.1.3. in this version in the customer tab Business identifier field is missing. if I write GSTIN no. with the customer’s address then it is not showing in the invoice, and if I create a customized field in the customer section then it is showing in the downside in the invoice. plz, give me a suggestion about that.

this field was removed. read below topic.

what do you mean by this?  
when the field was removed, the business identifier was automatically added to the address field of the customer. but this will not show on old invoices. only newly created invoices will display the GSTIN with the address.

What theme are you using for the invoices?

I can help you to show the custom field, right after of before the address. To be able to do that, please write me exactly the custom field’s name, and tell me about the theme.

Create a custom field for customers called ‘Business Identifier’ _(without the quotes)._

For this to work you have to name exactly the field to **Business Identifier**
