Batch Update Transactions

I am in payments/uncategorized payments, updating the accounts that the transactions should be assigned to. There is a big blue “batch update” button, but I get a red circle when I try to click on a box for any line item. How does one actually do this, please? I did see someone posted a link to instructions, but that was for in a spreadsheet; I am in manager.io proper, not a spreadsheet.

Please share screenshots of what you see so we can see what you speak of.

Also, we need to know the Version and Edition of Manager you are using.

I think I see what is going on - you can batch update the ones who have a new rule applied and account has “suspense” crossed off, and a replacement.

What I was looking for is a way to not apply a rule, but edit a bunch of accounts that are the same, but not necessarily have a rule.
