Average cost display

Hello all,

If the average cost is less than 0.0X, we can not see it on the inventory tab as attached. (Such as 0.00X etc)

Is there any way to see them on the panel ?

Thanks in advance,

No - only values equal to or greater than 0.01 will appear - you could change the unit of measure from ML to L and then they would show

Three issues are raised:

  1. You have no base currency set. That is acceptable if you only operate in one currency, but all your transactions will be undesignated.
  2. If you change the number of decimal places for your base currency (after setting one), it will show that way everywhere, on every completed transaction. You probably do not want that.
  3. It is difficult to imagine that a megaliter of anything costs less than .01, regardless of what currency you are using.

I suspect the ML means millilitre, so it should mL or ml not ML

Thank you for your replies.

@Joe91 @Tut , the measure is milliliter. This is basically coffee business. Liter measure is not convenient at the moment since the each coffee combines from the milliliters.

On the other hand, when we creating a sales invoice, how manager calculates the cogs automatically? (I mean the the cost reaches to 0.01 , the costs will be appeared on the P&L?)

The cost of goods should be accurate. Manager’s calculations are stored at up to 10 decimal places for your base currency. They are displayed at the number set in the Settings tab. So when you finally cross the .01 threshold, you should see the balance.

Dear @Tut ,

So I understand that average cost area should stay empty since the cost calculation is accurate.

The number displaying might be implemented into average cost section on inventory tab in future if it’s suitable.

Thank you,
