9 symbol instead of space?

Hi,
This is a new and weird things - I use the software both in English and Hebrew.
It worked perfect for a few months but recently, in hebrew fields/descriptions it adds a 9 symbol where the spaces should be. It is really hard to read and work this way.
Any solutions?
Thanks,
Maayan

Please add the screenshots to make us understand clearly and able to reproduce the ‘weird things’

Thank you
here is a screenshot.
I pixelized details for privacy.
The blue errors are to the 9 and a green to the space.

What version are you using, I can’t reproduce it in 17.5.0.

Good point, @acecombat2. When I switch to Hebrew, I don’t see the problem either. I also see things translated into Hebrew that @maayanbar’s screen shot shows in English.

incomplete translation :joy:

version 16.11.43
how do i upgrade?
It wasn’t this way until the last few days…

Download and Install the desktop version like you normally do, everyday lubos the developer update and bug fixes.

The 9s are still there :frowning:

My computer runs windows 10 64bit and as far as I know updated regularly.

@tut!

most probably keyboard input. I still can’t reproduce it.

  1. The Reason is your business file named in Hebrew form.
  2. Manager yet have full translation.
  3. We’re using same version but still unable reproduce it.

To be clear, your computer operating system may update regularly, but there is no automatic update for Manager. If you did not update Manager, it did not happen.

I am aware of that. I upgraded my version yet, as the screenshot can show you it did not solve the problem.

This annoying problem persists.
could it be a unicode UTF-8 problem?
when using windows hebrew encoding I get gibberish.

I solved this myself.
It was driving me crazy and at some point, being desperate and stubborn me I actually looked at the source, and although I do not know HTML I noticed that at the bottom it said:
font-family: “Helvetica Neue”,Helvetica,Arial,sans-serif
I deleted the font “Helvetica Neue” from my computer and now I guess the software moved to Arial because finally my spaces are back.
I do hope someone will notice this for the sake of future users with weird problems.
Maayan
